How to Move Reviewer Comments Side Bar in Microsoft Word

Farewell! I'thousand Arnel, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

To evidence markup in balloons, become to Review tab > Click the Bear witness Markup dropdown > Balloons >from there you lot tin can cull Show only Comments and Formatting in Balloons

Allow me know if this works.

Unfortunately I don't have the "Show just Comments and Formatting in Balloons" option anymore.  I only have "Bear witness Revisions in Balloons" or "Show but Formatting in Balloons".

Get to File > Options > Customize Ribbon > in the Choose Command From list (Choose All Commands or Commands not in the Ribbon) > Look for Only for Comments / Formatting

On the other side
Master Tabs > Review > Click the plus sign > Tracking > Click Show Mark upwards > New Grouping > then add together the Only for Comments

I worked through this customisation workflow.

Information technology added a "New Grouping" section on my "Review" ribbon but unbelievably the new group is labelled equally "Show Only Formatting in Balloons" - i.e. the "Only for Comments" part is omitted....

Version 2007 is an Insider release (that is, a preview). That ways that information technology could be a design change or a bug. I propose that yous study it via File > Feedback > Send a Frown.
