  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil (divided)
  • 1 lb flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 lb lo mein egg noodles (cooked)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 bag frozen mixed stir-fry vegetables
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • green onions (chopped for garnish)

Beef stir fry sauce

  • 2 tbsp garlic ginger paste
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • First, season the flank steak with salt and pepper and toss with cornstarch and set aside.

  • Next, put about 1 1/2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a wok on medium high heat. Cook the beef in small batches until browned, or about 3 minutes per side. Once browned, set aside.
